The Dojo entrance fee and annual registration are to be paid by each student (over 12 years old) when first joining the Dojo. The annual registration fee is also to be paid by each student (over 12 years old) every year thereafter that they are a member of the Long Island Aikikai.  These fees includes USAF membership fees as well as  insurance and administration costs. Visiting Aikidoists and children (7-12) do not need to pay these fees.

Iaido Program

• Dues are collected each month using an automatic payment system. Members have a choice of using VISA, MasterCard, or American Express to pay their dues.
   
• Check and cash payments are available to members on a minimum of a 2-month in advance basis. These are to be paid before the 10th of the month in which they are due in order to avoid a $15 late fee.
   
• Those that pay for 6 months in advance will receive a 10% discount. This discount can not be used for additional adult family members.
   
• Although the LI Aikikai has no long term contracts, those that wish to cancel or postpone their membership, must give 30 days written notice to the Dojo.
   
• There are no refunds for dues once a member has trained one or more days during any month. Exceptions may be made for injuries or illnesses on an individual basis. In such cases, the member must contact the LI Aikikai directly.
