The mission of the Long Island Aikikai is to preserve and spread the peaceful martial art of Aikido as taught by Aikido’s founder Morihei Ueshiba. Students at the Long Island Aikikai train in the image of O’Sensei’s (Aikido’s founder) ideals; a harmonious environment devoid of competition and destructive aggression.
